Gameplay

  1. Forfeit time is game time plus (10) minutes.
  2. Games will be played during the week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 6:15 pm and 7:45 pm. Typically rainout games will be made up on Wednesday and Friday nights of that week.   3. The board will look at all school events before making out league game schedules to try to limit any conflicts with game times. If teams are scheduled with no school conflict, then there is no excuse for trying to reschedule games unless a whole team is gone and the City League Director will research these particular cases.
  4. Managers and coaches are asked to read up on the local rules for your league as well as the USSSA rule before protesting any rules or calls. It a team does protest, make sure protest is done at the right time and turn in your protest request to the Protest Committee Team.
  5. All games will be played with the Yellow optic ball and the Tee-ball and 9 under will play with the 11-inch ball. The 12 under and Senior League will play with the 12-inch ball.
  6. Players must wear the shirts as furnished by the league. No jewelry is allowed, including the hair. Any earring that can not be removed must be taped or band-aid covered.
  7. All Players must play at least 1 at bat and play 3 defensive outs in a game. If the player does not reach that goal, then that player MUST start the next game and play the first 2 innings of that game. 
  8. Home team is to keep the official scorebook and visiting team to keep scoreboard. Lineups should be turned in 15 minutes before game time.
  9. End of season standings are determined by the following:
    • Best Record
    • Head to Head Record
    • Runs Allowed
    • Runs Scored
    • Coin Flip
